Cardinal Engineering has partnered with the University of Edinburgh, Nanyang Technological University and Power Projects Limited to develop an International Ocean Energy Technology Roadmap for the International Energy Agency (IEA) Ocean Energy Systems (OES). OES is an intergovernmental collaboration between countries in order to advance research, development and demonstration of ocean renewable energy. The roadmap will outline the innovation pathways and milestones that must be achieved in order to reach levelized cost of energy (LCOE) targets so it can be used by OES members as well as public and private technology funders. Cardinal’s primary role in the roadmap development is in the stakeholder engagement process with workshops and interviews. The final roadmap will be completed in Spring 2016.
