Cardinal Engineering has been awarded a contract by Huntington Ingalls Incorporated to perform structural engineering analysis in support of DDG 51 Flight III design and technical efforts. We will provide engineering structural analyses, ensuring structural requirements, manufacturability and quality are maintained throughout the development of the Flight III products. Specific support will involve Foundation Analysis, Noise and Vibration Design Calculations, Main Deckhouse Structural Analysis, and Main Hull Structural Analysis. Cardinal engineer David Batol will lead the effort, providing on-site collaboration with HII technical leadership. This contract has a potential value exceeding $2.0M.
