McKean Defense Group has awarded Cardinal Engineering a task order to support development and testing of Multi-Function Energy Storage Modules (MFESM’s) for shipboard platforms.  In support of the Energy Conversion Branch (Code 325) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division, Cardinal engineers will participate in the definition of hardware subsystems, their potential interactions, operating characteristics and develop Interface Control Documentation.  Cardinal will work closely with NSWCPD personnel to define test plans, performance goals, a master schedule and other supporting integration and interface details to establish a configurable, dynamic load test facility.
