Cardinal Engineering was recently awarded their second TEAMER program award to aid marine energy developers in design and analysis of their devices. The Testing Expertise and Access for Marine Energy Research (TEAMER) program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and directed by the Pacific Ocean Energy Trust (POET), is a way for marine energy developers to gain access to the resources needed to mature their designs and work towards powering the blue economy.  During this latest round of research Cardinal will be aiding C-Power by investigating alternative materials to use in the construction of their Wave Energy Converter (WEC) in order to save manufacturing and maintenance costs, and reduce weight to improve efficiency.
