WE’RE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR:

ASSOCIATE ENGINEERS: Cardinal Engineering is currently seeking associate engineers to provide Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) support of the Navy’s Surface Ship Torpedo Defense System program. Examples of the types of EQT to be performed include shock, vibration, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and humidity.

0 – 3 years experience and a B.S. degree required in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, and Electrical Engineering, or other technical disciplines with exposure to complex naval systems. Looking for team-oriented individuals to solve challenging problems. Successful candidates will participate in a small team to work through completion of system EQT. Training will be provided.

Candidates must be based in the U.S. Eastern time zone and be willing to travel to Cardinal facilities as required. Travel will be required in execution of assigned duties as testing is performed. Must be a US Citizen and currently possess or be capable of obtaining a SECRET security clearance. Candidate should have excellent communication skills both written and oral and be able to work well without supervision.

Salary commensurate with years and applicability of experience ranging from $80 – $95K.

3+ years of experience required. Must have a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or other technical disciplines with exposure to complex naval systems. Looking for team-oriented individuals to solve challenging problems. Successful candidates will participate in a small team to work through completion of system EQT. Candidates must have experience with EQT and experience with Navy programs, procedures and processes. Experience and proficiency with finite element analysis and modeling codes is a plus.

Salary commensurate with years and applicability of experience ranging from $95 – $170K.

ASSOCIATE ENGINEERS: Cardinal Engineering is currently seeking an Associate Engineer interested in supporting a diverse range of projects from surface ship power and propulsion development to advanced imaging systems to sophisticated Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) projects. This critical role involves working with senior members of our engineering team to advance several technical initiatives in our broad portfolio. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team supporting our overall engineering workload. You will work closely with subject matter experts in a collaborative environment across a variety of technical disciplines fostering innovation and continuous learning.

0 – 3 years experience and a B.S. degree required in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or other technical disciplines.

Responsibilities will include conducting design, development and analysis activities; developing solutions to marine engineering challenges in the electrical, mechanical and computer engineering domains; developing and maintaining project documentation including but not limited to requirements documentation, design information, source code, schematics, drawings, digital models, test plans and procedures, final reports and technical presentations; and supporting internal and external technical reviews as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to learn, robust problem-solving abilities, strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to complete tasks on time while juggling multiple commitments. Candidate should have excellent communication skills both written and oral and be able to work well without supervision. Candidates must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office products and should have experience with programming in Python and Matlab.

Candidates must be based in the U.S. Eastern time zone and be willing to travel to Cardinal facilities as required. Travel may be required in execution of assigned duties. Must be a US Citizen and currently possess or be capable of obtaining a SECRET security clearance.
